Hi everyone, I'm Adrianne, and I'm 22 years old. While most people my age were chasing their dreams and finishing school, I had to let go of mine to become the only one providing for my family. Every day, I work not for myself, but to make sure the people I love have hope for tomorrow.

The hardest part of my journey is watching my little sister fight Stage 3 cancer. Seeing someone so yng endure so much pain is something I would never wish on anyone. There are nights I cry in silence, asking why life had to be this way, but every morning I remind myself that I cannot give up because my sister hasn't given up either.

His smile, his courage, and the simple words, "Kuya, thank you," give me the strength to keep going even when I'm exhausted. I'm not sharing my story to ask for sympathy, but to remind everyone that behind every smile is a battle we may never see. My life hasn't been easy, but I'll continue to fight for my family, hold on to hope, and believe that brighter days are still ahead.
