Sometimes I feel like I was born at the wrong time, as if someone opened a door before I was ready to walk through it.
I was never the kind of girl people noticed right away. I could sit quietly in the corner of a room, listening to other people's conversations and smiling whenever the situation required it. People thought I was calm. Some even thought I was cold.😜
But no one knew how much I kept inside
I loved the night. There was something honest about it. When the city fell asleep, I no longer had to pretend to be strong. I would open my window, put on my favorite music, and stare at the lights in the buildings across the street, imagining that somewhere behind one of those windows lived a person who would one day understand me without me having to say a single word🤞
