Nancy

I'm Nancy, I'm 18 years old and I live in Poland. I was born in Gdansk, and now I have been studying in Warsaw for the second year.
I study at the Faculty of Foreign Languages ​​- I specialize in English and Japanese. In the future, I want to work as a translator or run my own small blog about culture and travel. At the same time, I earn extra money: sometimes I make subtitles for TV series and help people with spoken English online.
My hobbies are quite quiet, but I get completely lost in them. I really like to read manga and light Japanese literature, and I also keep my own diary with sketches and short stories. In the evenings I often listen to lo-fi and jazz, and sometimes I draw in a digital sketchbook - mostly characters and cozy scenes. I also love cooking Asian food: ramen, onigiri and various desserts.
I play sports regularly—I’ve been going to yoga and Pilates classes for two years now. It helps me keep my head in order. In the summer I add light jogging along the Vistula, and in the winter I sometimes go ice skating.
I'm generally quite quiet and observant and like to spend time alone or with a couple of close friends. Most of all, I appreciate the moments when I can just sit down with a book or notepad and not be in a rush.
